This area contains my work bench. This is where I do the majority of my assembly and
finish work. Beneath the bench on the near side are
storage bins for fasteners and
miscellaneous items. Beneath the bench on the far side are a 1.5 horsepower
air compressor and two nail guns.
The work bench in the corner is where I store many smaller hand tools. The pegboard on the wall holds wrenches, hammers, pliers, squares, rulers and levels among other things. This area is also important for two other reasons. First, this is where the radio is located. And second, it is where I keep the fan or space heater (depending on season). The bookcase between the corner work bench and the door holds several tools, including a biscuit joiner, two orbital sanders, a circular saw, and a jig saw. |
