There is no fancy woodwork here at all, but this is very handy to have around if you like to play board games.

This rotating game board could be used to hold many board games, but I actually built it to hold
Super Scrabble. The Scrabble game itself measures 19 1/4" x 19 1/2", so I made this board
with dimensions of 19 1/2" x 19 3/4". The rotating board is just a piece of 3/4" plywood.
The edges are 1/8" poplar molding that stick up about 3/16" above the playing surface; this
keeps the game board from sliding off the rotating surface. The upper piece is attached,
via some "lazy susan" hardware, to a circular piece of pine approx 1" thick and 14" in diameter.
I cut out the center of the wooden circle (inside the center of the hardware) just to save
some weight.
There is no fancy woodwork here at all, but this is very handy to have around if you like to play board games.
