Dan Brown's novel, "Angels & Demons", contains seven ambigrams. Ambigrams are a type of word
art in which the word is readable from more than one angle or direction. Each of the seven
ambigrams in "Angels & Demons" is identical when either rightside-up or upside-down. That is,
if you rotate these ambigrams 180 degrees they look exactly the same.
All of the ambigrams used in this novel were designed by word artist John Langdon. In fact, the title of the novel (as shown below) is even written as an ambigram.
